Why do We Believe in God? 

There are over 8 billion people in the world and the majority of them believe in a god of some kind.  But many of these beliefs are mutually incompatible… or it seems that way.

This video asks the question “Does God exist out there… or is it that god beliefs reside in our minds?  In other words,  is God real or psychologically constructed?  There is strong evidence that pattern recognition and belief in agency has evolutionary advantage. The ancient Greeks attributed acts of nature such as lightning or stormy seas to gods such as Zeus or Poseidon.
