Milestones in Biology and Evolution 

In the last several hundred years the science of biology has proceeded at a breakneck speed. It was only in 1859 that Charles Darwin wrote “On the Origin of Species”.  A mere one hundred years later in 1959, the Leakeys discovered proto-human fossils in Africa.  This video documents these and more recent discoveries that have turned our understanding of our origins upside down.

Religion is a sociological phenomenon that has evolved over the history of mankind.  Roots of worship can be traced to thousands of years before Christ.  As we moved from an agrarian to a modern scientific society,  literacy and religious belief continue to morph. Does the Bible Really Say That?

The bible condones slavery, homophobia, genocide, and misogyny.  And it is clear about it.  This series highlights these troubling passages.  The next time someone claims the “holy book” as a moral authority,  be sure to share these two videos with them.  “I think if more Christians actually read the whole thing a lot of them would leave the religion. Cults 

Cults are a sociological phenomenon. They are usually led by a charismatic leader who requires unwavering devotion to a set of beliefs and practices that are considered outside societal norms. Many cults offer members advantages of belonging to a tight-knit family-like community. Some cults are benign or even beneficial but others can be malignant or deadly.
